  • Winner: Dale Ellis (SEA)
  • Dale Ellis took advantage of Larry Bird’s absence, and won his first contest with a regular series.
  • NBA invited Rimas Kurtinaitis, probably the best European shooter in the 80’s. He finished in the last place, maybe too much distance for him.

  • Again, again, again… for the third consecutive time, Larry Bird won the contest, this time with his finger he said “I’m the number one”.
  • Detlef Schrempf only made 5 points in the semifinal, all-time contest worst score tied with Jordan in 1990.
