    NBA SPRITE SLAM DUNK SHOWDOWN 2011

    • Young Hollywood, member of TFB (Team Flight Brothers) got the second Slam Dunk Showdown in Los Angeles winning at home with the text message voting.
    • Taurian “Air Up There” Fontenette, won the first edition in Dallas and ‘Young Hollywood’ was a finalist then. The 3 finalists of the 2011 edition were: Kenny Dobbs, Terry ‘TDub’ Cuornoyea and Justin ‘Jus Fly’ Darlington.

    • The NBA and Sprite are bringing the best amateur dunkers in the U.S. to the NBA All-Star Weekend 2011 in Los Angeles to crown a Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown champion.
    • One champion dunker will be selected in each of the eight Slam Dunk Showdown cities, winning $1,000.
    • Two champions will be selected via the online video submission contest.
    • Of the ten total champions, the public will vote for their favorites and the top four dunkers will be sent to the 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles to compete for the $10,000 Grand Prize.
