NBA ALL STAR VOTING RESULTS 2012 – ORLANDO

Four years after leading the ballot in 2008, Dwight Howard got again the most votes in the NBA All-Star Game voting.
Kobe Bryant tied Kevin Garnett as the active player selected most times (14) to play in the NBA All-Star Game, and third in the all-time list behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Shaquille O’Neal.
Blake Griffin and Andrew Bynum are first-time starters, Bynum even in his first All-Star Game.
LA duets (Kobe–Bynum and Paul–Griffin) are the first couples of team mates since 1997 to start together an NBA All-Star Game. Stockton–Malone and Payton–Kemp were the last 4 players to accomplish this feat.
3 players were picked as reserves despite not being listed in the Top 10 voting results for their positions: Tony Parker (SA), Roy Hibbert (Ind) and Andre Iguodala (Phi).
