    LaMelo Ball Becomes the Youngest Rookie in NBA to Score Triple Double

    LaMelo Ball made history as the youngest player scoring a triple-double. The rookie from Charlotte Hornets played excellently against the Atlanta Hawks. The team defeated the Hawks with a score of 113-105.

    Previously, Markelle Fultz used to hold the record of youngest player to score 22 points, 11 assists, and 12 rebounds. He was merely 19 years and 317 days old.

    Now LaMelo has broken that milestone as he is younger as he is 19 years and 140 days old and scored a triple double.

    LaMelo made it to the list of players who scored a triple-double in NBA history. He is the fifth player to achieve this till now.

    Hornet’s coach called LaMelo Ball a rare talent as a rookie

    James Borrego, Hornets’ head coach, said that LaMelo has exceptional talent; one like he has never seen before in a rookie.

    Hornets won three matches straight. LaMelo had become the first rookie who came and scored triple-double and took the game for the Hornets.

     

    LaMelo missed the opportunity to score the triple-double against New Orleans Pelicans just two days earlier. His brother Lonzo plays for the Pelicans. Hornets won with 10 rebounds, 9 assists, and 12 points of LaMelo. He is the third pick in the 2020 draft.

    Confident LaMelo expected his triple-double score

    The young rookie LaMelo said that he knew about his capabilities, and things did not occur for no reason. The level of playing he has been showing us resulted from his hard work eventually.

    In the Eastern Conference, the Philadelphia 76ers faced an end to their winning spree when they lose to the Denver Nuggets. The score was 115-103. 76ers won 20 matches before this defeat.

    Basketball Season scores summary

    The Philadelphia Sixers several players couldn’t able to play as they had injuries. The team had only seven players to proceed. Coach Doc Rivers thought that the NBA should have delayed the schedule keeping its safety and health rules in mind.

    Though the delay didn’t happen and Nuggets took the match with Gary Harris scoring 21 points, Nikola Jokic scoring 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 12 assists.

    Miami heat won against Washington Wizards with 128-124. Miami heat was also the finalist of last season. Moreover, Tyler Herro of Miami heat became this season highest scorer with 31 points.

    San Antonio Spurs’ DeMar DeRozan scored 38, which is also a season-high against Minnesota Timberwolves. Though San Antonio spurs won by a narrow difference.

    The Spurs had their three back to back victory and defeated the Timberwolves with 125-122.

    The Dallas Mavericks beat Orlando Magic with 112-98. Mavericks took three matches in a row with this win. Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr. Had scored 29 and 36, which is also a season-high.

    The Milwaukee Bucks did not have their best players like Giannis Antetokounmpo in the match against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He had injuries in the back, but Milwaukee won with 100-90 without one of the most valuable NBA players.

    The Portland Trail Blazers defeated The Sacramento Kings next, scoring 125-99.

    The Phoenix Suns lost to the Detroit Pistons, but won the next match against the Indiana Pacers with 125-117.
